About Us
Pfizer Healthcare India Private Limited (PHIPL), incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, is a multifaceted entity engaged in manufacturing and a variety of allied services. PHIPL operates an export-oriented manufacturing unit in Vizag, India, and a Global Drug Development & Capability Centre in Chennai, India.
Our expertise spans across manufacturing of Sterile Injectables at Vizag to Chemical & Analytical Research and Development, Drug Product Design, Small Molecule Technology, and Analytical Technology, in Chennai, in collaboration with IIT- Madras. In Chennai, we also have a dedicated Services Centre offering comprehensive support services. These include Global Biometrics and Data Management (GBDM), which supports clinical and late-stage development of medicines and regulatory sciences across all therapeutic areas. Additionally, our Global Regulatory Sciences (GRS) team handles Regulatory Strategy and Global Regulatory Operations, while Worldwide Safety (WWS) oversees all aspects of pharmacovigilance from early development through post-approval. Our Global Logistics Network Services (GLNS) manages logistics for products from our sites and CMOs to both internal and first-paying customers, along with other analytical services and enabling functions.
