Our Initiatives – Providing support in ESG area:
BAIF Livelihoods Institute for Sustainable Livelihoods and Development is a not- for-profit organization registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. PHIPL has entered into an MoU with BAIF to provide CSR support for Comprehensive Environment Conservation Programme (CECP) in the states of Andhra Pradesh and TamilNadu
Under the CECP project, BAIF has identified 7 villages in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, TamilNadu and 8 villages in Parawada Mandal, Anakapalle District, Andhra Pradesh to fund and support farming communities relating to soil fertility and agricultural productivity enhancement spread over a period of 3 FYs.
Our Initiatives – Providing support in TamilNadu:
BAIF team distributed and installed Solar Insect Trap equipments in agricultural fields covering 6 villages falling under Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in November 2024. The team also installed solar street lights in areas that lacked connectivity and this has helped the villagers immensely during night time. The team has also taken up other activities such as installation of Biogas etc.

CSR Initiatives - Pfizer 175 Anniversary

Our Initiatives – Pfizer 175th Anniversary celebrations in Chennai:
In December 2024, over 100 colleagues volunteered with a commitment to make a positive impact on our community as part of Pfizer 175th Anniversary celebrations in Chennai. The Government School at Sithalapakkam, Chennai was transformed with 16 vibrant mural paintings and at Tree Planting Activity at Sithalapakkam, Chennai colleagues planted 214 fruit/flower bearing trees for environmental sustainability and to reduce carbon footprint. The Seed Ball Making activity with soil, compost, and native seeds like bamboo, papaya, banyan, neem, and tecoma stans to promote reforestation and biodiversity was another successful and a joyful session.

Our Initiatives – Pfizer 175th Anniversary celebrations in Vizag:
As part of Pfizer 175th Anniversary celebrations, around 100 colleagues took part in CSR initiatives in and around Anakapalli District, Andhra Pradesh. The Government Polytechnic college, Rebeka near Anakapalli was transformed with vibrant mural paintings and tree planting activities for environmental sustainability and reduction of carbon footprint.
The Seed Ball Making activity in Vizag site with soil, compost, and native seeds like neem, bamboo, silk cotton, peepal teem, spathodea to promote reforestation and biodiversity was another successful and a joyful session.
